No runners today but the week begins with GOLDEN RATIO running tomorrow at Wolvs. Her first run was encouraging and one would hope natural improvement will put her right in this race. I do think she will be better with a bit further but the race fits in well for her and she will step up in trip next time.
CHIEF EXEC, video'd below going for a hack and canter with the stable hack Sonny Jim in the forest to freshen him for Thursday at Wolvs. Chief is a bit hard to catch at times but returns to jhis favourite track and trip and can never be discounted if he gets the race run to suit.
ACROSSTHEUNIVERSE heads there with him and she has proved very frustrating but the application of blinkers might just do the trick.
THALIWARRU returns to Southwell where i think he was a little unlucky to run into a horse who came out and won well again. He can make amends on Thursday if all goes according to plan.
