*News Update: We have had 2 winners from 3 runners since last Tuesday. Ivory Silk won in good style on Tuesday, beating a competitive-looking field over five furlongs at Wolverhampton. El Diego won for us at Southwell on Friday, taking the maiden at Southwell. Full reports next week*
Both Monkey Glas and Acrosstheuniverse produced good results for the yard this week, coming 2nd and 4th respectively. Monkey Glas ran at Wolverhampton last Friday and, despite being denied his preferred front-running role, the horse battled his way into the race to claim the runner-up spot. Considering that the race wasn
The horses remain in top form and we have been knocking on the door this week with our four runners coming 3rd, 4th, 3rd and 3rd. Monkey Glas ran into some tough opponents in his claiming race on Sunday, with the winner notching up his 13th victory. Our colt led for most of the way before getting into a battle for the lead and being headed inside the final furlong, just losing 2nd place before the line. He has come home fit and well and will be back out in the next week or two. Nobelix was our 4th placed runner and he ran well at Wolverhampton last Friday night. Jeremy had his suspicions that the horse may not be the kind that handles two races close together and, although he won incredibly easily the Friday beforehand (he is pictured being led in), it would seem that he does go better fresh. He has been dropped 1lb following the run and will probably be out again in January.
This week we added another win and a second place to our growing tally of good results for the last few weeks. Nobelix stormed home on Friday night to win by three lengths at Wolverhampton under a great ride from Martin Dwyer. The gelding was having his first run for The Resurrection Partners, who also have Maidanni with us. Congratulations to both Richard Page and Stuart Dobb. Nobelix (pictured) jumped out the stalls and led the field from start to finish with his ears pricked, clearly enjoying his job. Martin Dwyer cleverly dictated the pace of the race and when he kicked for home nothing could go with him. The horse has come out of the race in good form and will be back out again on Friday over the same course and distance.
*News Update. Nobelix won in convincing style on Friday night at Wolverhampton. He jumped out in front and was never headed in the 8.50 one mile four handicap, winning by three lengths for The Resurrection Partners. Full story next week*

Despite the cold it was good to see so many horses working well this morning. The Australian horses Mrs Penny, Catalan Bay and Horseshoe Reef all did their faster work nicely and wouldn
