01st September 2010
Shahwardi and Medicean Man are set to run tomorrow at Salisbury and Wolverhampton respectively. Shahwardi (pictured left) makes the step up to 1 mile 6 under Steve Drowne in a very competitive looking six-runner race, due off at 5.30. Medicean Man runs later in the evening, at 8.20 under Jimmy Quinn. On Friday we have Pink Cat, owned by The Ferrule Kitty, making her debut for the yard at Kempton and Ivory Silk goes to Lingfield for the Resurrection Partners.
Saturday 28th August- Prince Of Dance Makes His Debut Tomorrow
Prince Of Dance looks to be all set to make his debut for the yard at Goodwood tomorrow. The Danehill Dancer colt (pictured left) will line up in the Group 3 Supreme Stakes at 3.55 under Steve Drowne. We took the decision not to run him at York last weekend, as he needs a bit of cut in the ground and wasn't going to get it. With tomorrow's track soft at the moment, we are all hoping for a big run from the horse. Chief Exec and New Leyf both ran very good races this week, both coming third. Chief, usually happy to follow the field and then come with a late run over seven furlongs, showed what the wonders of a break can do when he flew the stalls and led over six at Lingfield. He looked like he might win, before just being passed close to home. It was lovely to see the old boy enjoying himself and hopefully there are races to be won with him this year. New Leyf ran very well under Jamie Spencer yesterday at Newmarket, just finding two too good. He will be winning again soon.
